Cartalax is a peptide bioregulator blend formulated for research into cartilage biology and connective tissue regeneration. It contains short peptide sequences derived from cartilage and bone matrix proteins, following bioregulator research methodology.

Research into peptide bioregulators has examined how short peptides influence gene expression in target tissues. Cartalax constituent peptides have been studied for effects on chondrocyte activity, collagen type II synthesis, and proteoglycan production.

In vitro studies have examined Cartalax components for ability to stimulate synthesis of structural cartilage components. Anti-inflammatory effects in chondrocyte cultures subjected to inflammatory cytokine challenge have also been investigated.
